My Adventures,
My Life
July 14 Its a quiet morning. Latte is made, windows are open, birds are serenading me. Louie has mad a little bed for himself on the floor in the single beam of light from the window. He likes being warm.
No music this morning, just the beeping of the garbage truck and the clicking of my typing. The quiet can be just as inspiring as a room full of music.
It has been a tough couple weeks, and Alaska couldn't have come at a better time. Why tough? Well, I made some silly mistakes that reaped a bounty of stress and anxiety. Mistakes are not easily weathered when you are a people pleaser.
In the midst of it all we headed out to Alaska on a family vacation with Brian's family that had been planned for over a year. It ended up being perfect timing to whisk me away from the problems I had no control over.
There is nothing like crisp unspoiled air and the wild of Alaska to help ease your mind.
All is now well, thanks to some relaxation and time with the people I love most in this word... family.
