March 5 I just wrote the most beautiful story on these two and thanks to my blind trust in technology I didn't save half way through and BAM I lost it. OOOOf Course!
Because of the lack of another hour today to write the story- I am going to save it in my head for now.
But know this- Kaitlyn and I go waaaaaay back, she is what would be considered a "best friend" and to someone like me without a sister, she has been the closest thing to it.
She has been one of the biggest influences in my life other than my parents and my husband. Many aspects of my personality have been formed during our friendship and time living together during school.
Together we are quite a sight. We laugh uncontrollably-still to this day- and we have so many inside jokes its hard to even attempt to explain what we are talking about to an outsider most of the time.
10 years of friendship has brought us so close and I am a better person because of her.
She was my maid of honor in my wedding 3 years ago and I am more than honored to be in her wedding in April. She is marrying a wonderful man. I prayed my dear friends would find a love like the one I am blessed to know with Brian... and I am more than confident Kaitlyn has found that in Joel.
His calm, quiet side seems to balance out her outgoing social craziness of which all who know Kaitlyn, love her for. :) There really is never a dull moment with Kaitlyn at the helm. She makes sure every experience is a memorable one... especially when we were 15... I will save the stories for the wedding ;)
For as long as I can remember, Kaitlyn has always wanted the sterotypical, tall dark and handsome man to come and sweep her off her feet and ride romantically off into the sunset. Her favorite movie when we were younger was "Wild Hearts Can't be Broken"... a movie that involves young love, horses and yes a tall dark and handsome man.
SO I saw it only fitting to try and incorporate that childhood imagination of love and knights on horses into their golden-lit engagement session a few weeks ago.
It was freezing but I am SO pleased with the turnout and to me- it couldn't fit Kaitlyn and Joel more perfectly.
Can't WAIT for their wedding next month!!
Classic Colorado- resembles an old western painting

this is so perfectly pure and romantic

one of my favorites

And just like that... BAM! A horse shows up on your site! ;)
love these...they look like they belong in a travel magazine. I especially love Kaitlyn's hair - I'm a natural curly too and I have to say her curls are just gorgeous!! The horse was a nice touch...what beautiful photos.
Someone passed along your website to me when I was doing a giveaway on my blog the other day...LOVE your work!!!
