My Adventures
February 4 I was thinking today about how the photo industry is coming back around to using film, although it is more of a trend or hobby than a necessity in some cases. Some photographers, like me, began their love affair with photography first using film then spread their wings to digital.
It has been ages since I last picked up my old film camera and I was truly looking forward to giving it a try again during our trip. I am by no means a pro when it comes to film and never have been. To be honest I don't always do what I am supposed to, I just shoot using what settings I think will look good depending on the given light... no light meter, so the end result in some photos did not meet my eager expectations... but then again, some amazed.
I think I would very much like to perfect my film skills again. There is just something so sweet about delayed gratification... and grain.
I noticed this staring up at me from a melancholy puddle one rainy afternoon in Pisa
All photos below taken in Rome or Greece using a Canon A-1

All I can say is WOW. Those are so good. Nicely done, Hannah and Brian.
there's something about film that digital can't touch. it's just so classic. lovely photos!
Wow. Gorgeous. The grain is so different from digital. It's been so long since I looked at film images, I almost forgot how beautiful they can be.
Hannah, the picture of you leaning against the wall is stunning. I think every girl who ever saw that picture would hate you just a little bit. Not only are you really talented, but also really beautiful.
