Brittany + David *Engagement*

This couple is giving, joyous, kind, humble, solid, genuine, and the list goes on. Brian and I consider ourselves lucky to have been able to connect with them if only for a day.

When Brittany asked us if we would want to set the engagement session at the foot of the Breckenridge peaks I didn't hesitate to agree. David's family has a beautiful home tucked romantically into the woods overlooking the resort. David proposed to Brittany under a canopy of twinkle lights in the backyard of his parents home and carved their names in a young tree who will forever remind them of their love for each other. So of course it was only fitting to have the engagement session there in the peaceful snowy beauty of a Colorado ski town.

We were blessed with fresh snow from the day before and the signature Colorado sun. I had them waist high in snow or hiking across fields just to snap the perfect shot and I am so happy they were ready and willing! Thank God for Brian and his long legs or else I would not have been able to carry my camera gear with me in the deepest snow I have ever tried tromping through. I was really quite crazy to gamble my camera against the unstable terrain and snow. Luckily all accidents were avoided and it all was worth it in the end.

David's family were kind enough to allow us to stay overnight and David, Brittany, Brian and I all hit the slopes the next morning. I tried snowboarding for the first time and well lets just say I know why people are so afraid to try it BUT I can also see why people are addicted to it! It is so difficult yet so exhilerating! I will for sure try again!

THANK YOU David, Brittany and to your wonderful families for trusting us and welcoming us into your home! We greatly enjoyed every minute!
