A few years ago I was very happy to have photographed the Egan family and was glad to hear they were ready for another session this year. 

Dan and Amanda have two ADORABLE kids. I mean, these kids could be GAP models. Which really just makes my job ridiculously easy.

We meandered our way around Old Colorado City posing for a photo or two. Now many of you out there who have experienced "family photo day" as a photographer or family member knows that the kiddos only have so much tolerance for the big black clicking machine being shoved in their face. I mean, maybe 30 minutes TOPS!

I know I turn into a complete idiot trying to get them to smile.. seriously its hilarious the things I say and do and faces I make... sometimes without even getting a crack of a grin out of the child. But all it takes is that split second snap when they do let out a laugh for reasons we sometimes don't know and * BAM* you have the winning shot!

The Egans were smart and decided to add candy apples to the mix... good thought and CUTE shots!

Thanks so much! I can't imagine ever taking a bad photo of such a good looking family.
