Megan Hawbaker *Portraits*

Megan is a very close friend of mine,.... and by close friend I mean, together we have walked the red dusty streets of Uganda, twirled under the massive bow of the Eiffel tower, stared into the mesmerizing eyes of The Mona Lisa, enjoyed a restful evening in Hyde Park... among other wonderful things.

I have been lucky to have enjoyed her invincible cooking and have called her too many times to ask her if I am dying (she is a nurse, what can I say, I can be a bit of a hypochondriac at times)

Megan being from the plains of Kansas has just enough of that "prairie home woman" mentality to balance out her strong independence. She is absolutely beautiful and her character even more alluring.

I love that I can call her to come over and bake me some cookies and she will, I love that I can call her at 1am to ask why my heart rate is so high only to have her tell me to stop drinking so much green tea, I love that she takes her coffee black (who drinks black coffee these days?) I love that she wears the same size shoe as I do and believe me we both take advantage of it, I love that she likes really cheesy movies from Bollywood even though I refuse to watch them with her,  I love that we both can sing at the top of our lungs in the car to the soundtrack of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (soundtracks are Megan's thing)... but most of all I just love that I can call her friend.

Love you friend. :)

For her birthday this year we decided to play dress up and this is what became of it...

Hair and make-up- Yours truly

Wardrobe- Megan's grandmother's closet.

Love these Miss Hannah. I think you captured Megan's personality perfectly in the midst of the vintage atmosphere. Love them!
